To prevent Braava jet® from going into other rooms, an invisible barrier can be created with Virtual Wall® Mode. Braava jet will avoid cleaning part of a room or a different floor type.
Note: You can also use Virtual Wall Mode to divide a larger room into smaller areas to help Braava jet clean more efficiently.
Begin with Braava jet powered off. When placing Braava jet, note that an invisible line will be created aligned with the back of the robot.
Press and hold CLEAN on the robot until two blue lines appear on the top of the robot. The blue lines will indicate that the Virtual Wall Mode has been activated.
Once in Virtual Wall Mode, Braava jet will mark an invisible boundary in its internal map, extending out to each side. As Braava jet cleans your floor, it will not go beyond the invisible line.
Once Braava jet is in place, just press CLEAN to start the job.
Tips
Virtual Wall Mode will turn off automatically when the robot completes its job.
To manually clear a Virtual Wall Mode cleaning cycle and turn off Braava jet, press and hold CLEAN on the robot until all indicators turn off.
