Full Bin Indicators and Behaviors on an e Series i Series or j Series Roomba® Robot

Roomba® e series, i series, and j series indicate the bin is full in multiple ways:

• The Full Bin Indicator will appear under the CLEAN button, in the iRobot® HOME App.

• Roomba® e Series, the Full Bin Indicator will illuminate on the robot.

• Roomba® i Series and Roomba® j series will illuminate the Light Ring around the CLEAN button, which will then sweep back, towards the rear of the CLEAN button, or the single button, and then flash red:

Please clean the full bin sensors and port sensors thoroughly. If Roomba® continues to indicate the bin is full after you have emptied the bin, it means you have not thoroughly cleaned the bin full sensors and/or the port sensor.

After you have cleaned all six (6) full bin sensors and ports, it may be necessary to clear the error by rebooting the robot.
 

If the full bin error persists after clearing the error, please contact iRobot Customer Care.

For expedited service, please have the following ready:

• Your robot charged and with you.
• Your robot's Serial Number.
• For warranty claims: Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice for purchase from an authorized retailer).
