Roomba 900 series uses iAdapt® 3.0 Responsive Navigation with Visual Localization to ensure complete home coverage (up to 2000 ft² / 185 m²).
When Roomba senses that its battery is low, it will return to its Home Base® to recharge. If there is more cleaning left to do, Roomba will automatically continue its cleaning job after 90 minutes of charging. When Roomba is charging in the middle of a cleaning job, the CLEAN button will be pulsing when it is on the Home Base, and the iRobot HOME App will indicate that the cleaning job is paused.
Roomba 900 series robot vacuums will create a Clean Map that allows you to view an image of the area cleaned. View this clean map to see if you can troubleshoot areas that Roomba was not able to access. Click

If Roomba misses sections of your home after completing its cleaning job, or does not make it into all rooms, use the following procedure to resolve this issue.

Ensure the house has adequate light for the robot to navigate. Dark rooms can be challenging for the iAdapt® localization camera and can cause problems with navigation and coverage. Daylight or dim lighting is sufficient for Roomba to navigate effectively.
- Make sure all doors are open and clear of obstructions to ensure adequate space for Roomba to pass through
Wipe the clear window on the robot's top surface using a microfiber or soft cotton cloth that has been lightly dampened with water or a screen cleaning solution.
Turn the Roomba over and use a clean, dry microfiber or soft cotton cloth to wipe any debris that has accumulated in the round iAdapt® Floor Tracking Sensor opening on the right side of the robot's bottom surface. Do not spray cleaning solution directly into the sensor opening.
