What is this feature, and why should I use it?
If you press the Skip button, your robot will skip the current room or zone, and will travel to the next room or zone to continue cleaning.
Skip Room/Zone provides you with more control over missions while they are happening. We at iRobot
® are on a journey to give you more control and transparency, and this feature is part of its first phase.
Why do the buttons look different?
You may have noticed that the buttons for this feature resemble those on a music player. That was an intentional choice to increase the ease of your user experience.
Where is the Skip button located?
The Skip button is located on the Home Screen.
When can I use Skip Room/Zone?
This feature is active when your robot is cleaning or traveling.
What happens to the Skip Button when my robot isn’t cleaning or traveling?
In these situations, you can still see the Skip button, but it will be in a semi-off state. If you press it, a pop-up will appear to inform you to why you cannot skip at that time.
Which robots have this feature, and where is it available?
This feature is available on the i6-i8, j7, s9, and m6 models, and all functionality is available worldwide.
Does Skip Room/Zone offer voice support?
Yes! This feature offers voice support via Alexa.
