Unlike a Keep Out Zone, the Clean Zone allows customers to take advantage of a new cleaning behavior by creating an area on their Smart Map where they’d like their robot to focus on cleaning. This feature is ideal when you want your robot to clean up the crumbs that always land underneath a baby’s high-chair, or the sawdust around the table saw in the workshop.

Beginning on the CLEAN screen, select Smart Maps

Choose the Smart Map to build the Clean Zone on

Select Edit Smart Map

In the toolbar, select Add ZonesResults: Two options will display; Keep Out Zone and Clean Zone

Select Clean ZoneResult: A blue rectangle (with resizable measurements) will appear on the center of the screen

Drag the Clean Zone to the room you wish to place it in NOTE: You can drag the corner of the Clean Zone to resize it

Select Name Zone to assign a name to your Clean Zone Result: Choose a Zone name by selecting one from the alphabetized list, or select Custom to create a unique name (e.g. Baby’s High-Chair; Table Saw)

Select Save Result: The App will return to the Smart Map screen with the Clean Zone appearing in blue.
