Charging Error 1: All Roomba® and Braava® Models

Charging error one (1) means your Roomba® or Braava® cannot sense the battery is installed. Your robot will not charge if it cannot detect the battery. The error indicator will vary by model. Please remove and reinstall the battery to clear this error.

Note: Confirm that you are using an authentic iRobot® Lithium-Ion battery. Unknown charging errors can occur with aftermarket purchased batteries.

If the message persists, contact iRobot Customer Care.

For expedited service, please have the following ready:

• Your robot charged and with you
• Your robot's Serial number
• For warranty claims: Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice for purchase from an authorized retailer)
