When you start a new job in the iRobot® HOME App, you'll see the option to select all rooms or to choose rooms.
- If you don't yet have a map created (Smart Map compatible robot required), click 'Start Now' to begin cleaning and making a new map.
- If you own a Roomba® j, i, s, or 900 Series Robot Vacuum and a Braava jet® m Series Robot mop, at the top right of the screen you will see a third option to add another robot to the cleaning job.
To initiate a linked clean, select the option to add a second robot to the job. On the next screen, you'll have the ability to choose where you want each robot to clean.
Select All:
If you choose Select All, your Roomba® will begin vacuuming all accessible areas on that level of your home. When it has completed the cleaning job and has returned its Home Base®, your Braava jet® m Series Robot Mop will begin mopping
Choose Rooms:
For Roomba® j, i, and s Series Robot Vacuums, if you select Choose Rooms, this will give you the option to choose which rooms you would like Roomba® to vacuum, followed by which rooms you would like your Braava jet® m Series to mop.
You can also designate rooms for only vacuuming or only mopping. The room selected does not need to be the same for both robots.
The Clean by Room feature requires that you have previously created and customized an Imprint™ Smart Map for each robot.
Can I have both robots cleaning at the same time during an Imprint™ Link Cleaning job?
Imprint Link™ cleaning is sequenced, meaning that Braava jet® m Series mops after Roomba® vacuums. To have both robots cleaning at the same time, simply direct them to clean separate rooms independently in the app.
- Please be aware that Roomba® is designed to clean dry floors and should not be used in any areas of the home where the floor may not be fully dry.
Note: Imprint link cleaning is disabled for Roomba Combo j7 as it can both vacuum and mop on its own.
