Charging Error 109: All Roomba® Models

Charging Error 109 indicates a permanent battery fault. Remove the battery from the robot for at least 15 minutes, and replace it. If the error persists, the battery may need to be replaced.

 

Confirm that you are using an authentic iRobot® Lithium-Ion battery. Unknown charging errors can occur with aftermarket purchased batteries.

 

If the message persists, contact iRobot Customer Care.
